Navigating your Fertility as a Woman in Medicine Book

I never thought I would be someone who struggled with infertility.

No one does. Yet now I find myself having experienced so many different fertility treatments and having failed at most of them.

I became exasperated in my own journey and in my role as a mentor to young physicians, I wrote down my whole infertility journey with all the tips and suggestions I could remember in “Navigating your Fertility as a Woman in Medicine.” I did this to be transparent for others who will find themselves faced with this journey. I truly hope it helps even one person be prepared.

Additionally, this led to a desire to broaden the available options for support items and gifts needed during a fertility journey. Find the link to these items in my Etsy shop below.

Fertility for Women in Medicine

As women in medicine, we are more likely to delay our family planning and child rearing, more likely to experience infertility and more likely to experience pregnancy complications.

Yet this seems like a dark secret very few talk about. With over half of medical students being women, it is imperative we make this knowledge obvious and easy to understand.

I provide transparent discussion of the challenges facing persons in medicine who wish to pursue family and may face infertility struggles. After finally achieving a pregnancy via a gestational carrier, I authored Navigating Your Fertility as a Woman in Medicine.

This book and virtual support system is to help those who are considering fertility treatments or who find themselves already in pursuit of these treatments.
